Just before heading to trial to square off against Leviston – who filed a suit against 50 – the G-Unit general has filed a motion of his own, against Ross.
According to TMZ, Fif is now suing Rozay for being the one to initially release the tape on a third-party site that he owns.
Claiming that the MMG boss was the first to place the footage online, 50 points to a radio interview during which Ross references the video. 50 Cent also attests that he did not publish the entire clip, but instead “provided a link on his website to another website where the video could be viewed in its entirety,” the document reads, according to Courthouse News Service. If he loses in court against Leviston, 50 will reportedly seek damages from Ross.
Leviston and 50 Cent will head to trial in June. Jury selection is slated to begin on May 26.
