If there’s anything we know, it’s that Drake adores his loyal fans. On Monday night (July 20), Young Money’s rap prince sent a special message to one by the name of Jamal Utton, who recently passed away during a rugby tour.

The 17-year-old from London was one of Drake’s international fans, and according to his close friends, one of his biggest.

Using the hashtag #DrakeNoticeJamal, Utton’s friends garnered Drake’s attention through thousands of social media postings. The teen’s dedicated friends hoped Drake would take notice of the trending topic and send love to Utton’s family:

Their efforts paid off when Drake finally did notice the campaign and celebrated the young teen’s life on Instagram:

According the The Independent, the photo received over 169,000 likes in less than 24 hours after it was posted. Kudos to Drake.
