Taking back to Twitter to apologize for the mix-up, Total Beauty said sorry to anyone who was offended. They also announced that they were offering to donate $10,000 to the charities of Goldberg and Winfrey’s choice:

But before the mistake would blow over, Winfrey offered a reaction to mistake, by way of Gayle King’s Instagram page. Posing in a photo while pointing to Goldberg’s red carpet look, King was sure to make one thing clear to Total Beauty: “we don’t all look alike.” “@Oprah & favorite daughter watching #Oscars & seeing @totalbeautyeditors snafu! We all love @whoopigoldberg but we don’t all look alike Jeeeze!,” the caption read.
