#BBB NEWS| Faith Evans Speaks About Biggie Smalls’ Death With ‘Los Angeles Times’ [PHOTO]

“It was a whole lot of fun, I’m not going to lie. Everyday was something different,” said R&B singer Faith Evans of the label Bad Boy Records in a piece for the Los Angeles Times entitled “Bad Boy For Life.”

The article aimed to be retrospective, looking back on the music and controversies surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs’ empire.

Evans, who was married to Combs’ best friend and legendary Bad Boy MC the Notorious B.I.G. until his death in March of 1997, noted she does not blame the label for the “senseless” murder of the “One More Chance” lyricist.

“The only way you can look at it is tragic. Tragic and senseless,” she told the publication. “But I don’t think that situation was the result of being in the music business. It’s a little deeper than that. I think all the things that came with it definitely added to the hype of things. The whole media element, and people being able to say what they think and not be accurate.”

#BBB NEWS| Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment Partners With Epic Records In New Deal

Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs is nothing short of a businessman and that’s even more clear with his latest endeavor.

The King of Bad Boy Entertainment announced his new partnership with Epic Records of Sony Music today, according to Billboard.

The joining of the two music powerhouses will include some pretty nice perks including the release of not one, but two forthcoming Puff Daddy albums, as well as marketing, sales, and distribution for Bad Boy artists.

The details of the deal have yet to reach fruition, but L.A. Reid, Chairman of Epic Records and founder of LaFace Records says this is a great moment for the music houses. Reid also has nothing but words of endearment for Puffy in a statement.
