Lionel “Chinx” Pickens was laid to rest yesterday in his hometown of Queens, New York with a public service for family, friends and fans. His good friend and Coke Boys CEO French Montana of course came to pay his respects, and while sharing a photo with Chinx’s son, French said a few words about his late friend:

#BBB NEWS| RIP: Rapper Chinx Shot And Killed In Queens, NY [PHOTO]

Coke Boys affiliate Chinx was reportedly gunned down in Queens, NY early this morning (May 17). Most closely associated with French Montana, the rapper, real name Lionel Pickens, was killed when an unidentified gunman open fire on his vehicle in Briarwood, according to ABC 7.

The shooting occurred at 4 a.m. at Queens Boulevard and 84th Drive. Another person was in the car with Pickens, and is currently in critical condition at Jamaica Hospital. Chinx succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
