News broke on Tuesday morning (Feb. 9) that famed rapper DMX collapsed after enduring chest pains and breathing difficulty.

TMZ reports that although X has suffered from asthma in the past, his team sought to look for his inhaler during this health scare, but found that he had no pulse upon their search. Prayerfully, he was resuscitated by first responders.

With well wishes for a speedy recovery sent to the Mount Vernon native from his fans and peers, his frequent collaborator and friend, Swizz Beatz, shared good news with the masses on Twitter.

The producer said he spoke to X on the phone and revealed that “he’s good and in great spirits Thanks for all the blessings.”

DMX just can’t stay straight with the law. About a month after getting out of a Buffalo jail for not paying child support, X was dragged to court in Yonkers, NY for a contempt of a court warrant.

It was a child support issue again, this time involving his ex-wife (and mother of four of his children) Tashera Simmons.

X was briefly jailed.  But when he faced the judge he made the logical argument that he wouldn’t be able to make money to pay his obligations while in prison. The judge agreed and X was released without bail.

Following an arrest earlier this year, DMX was released from  jail on Friday (Sept. 25). The “Slippin” rapper was discharged from the Erie County Holding Center in Buffalo, NY, after a two month stint for unpaid child support.

The famed lyricist was detained before his performance at Radio City Music Hall where he was slated to appear on stage for a Masters of Ceremony event on June 26.

TMZ reports the reason for X’s early release — he was originally mandated to serve six months — was due to his claim of not being notified that he had to pay nearly $400,000 in unpaid child support.

DMX is in some trouble, and after an Erie County court ruling, it looks like he will be spending some time behind bars.

Over the past couple of years we’ve seen DMX get arrested a numerous amount of times. He yesterday went before a judge after being arrested last month for failure to pay child support and traffic violations along with a few other things.

Well it looks like everything has finally caught up with him.

It seems DMX is taking his recent New Jersey robbery accusation in stride. Stopping for the cameras of TMZ to offer his reply to the alleged Easter morning stick-up, the former Ruff Ryder asserted that he is not guilty, as evident by his current ability to travel freely.

“I have no idea what it’s about. I mean, it comes with the territory,” he said. “People are always gonna take shots. Try to accuse you of things. It’s not the first thing I’ve been accused of that I didn’t do. If I did it, you would have known about it. Like, for real. I wouldn’t be able to travel as freely as I do, if I did it. There’s nothing to worry about.”

Never one to miss an opportunity lay down some spiritual words, DMX also chalked the accusation up to how hard “the devil works” to destroy him. Quoting scripture, the rapper also shared that he makes more than the victim claims he stole – $3,200 in cash – in one show.
