Idris Elba, the (ladies) red carpet’s most dapper eye candy, is serving even more of a treat for Maxim’s September 2015 cover that dropped onto magazine racks today (Aug. 5).

The London-bred film star dished on compelling topics such as sex, music and auto racing for the story.

In the interview, he slammed the gossip about his rumored role in the next James Bond movie franchise. Robed in a striking black-grey printed coat, Elba also graced a preview for readers in a behind-the-scenes video of the magazine photoshoot.

“All the things I’ve been working on in the last two years all come out at the same time,” the Takers actor said. “I really like the clothing line … and you know, all the films coming out has been, like, two years of hard work. When you read off the list like that, it’s like, ‘Wow, you’re busy.'”
