The project is being fueled by the mega success of its lead single – Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” with Charlie Puth. The song plays during the final scene in the movie, and sold 464,000 downloads for the past week. Wiz also recently premiered the video, as well as performed it on NBC’s The Voice, both of which also helped immensely.
Elsewhere on the chart, Kendrick and Drake still remain comfortably in the top 10. Meanwhile, last week’s number one album, Wale’s The Album About Nothing, falls to number 11 in its second week with 33,000 units sold.
