#BBB NEWS| Chelsea Signs Matt Miazga

Chelsea have completed the signing of Matt Miazga from New York Red Bulls. The USA international central defender has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at Stamford Bridge and becomes Guus Hiddink's second signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of Alexandre Pato.

"I am very happy to sign for Chelsea, a world-famous club with a reputation for major success. I am delighted to be in the Premier League, the best league in the world, and can't wait to meet my team-mates and get going," the 20-year-old told the club's official website.

"I am still at the beginning of my career but I believe this is the place to develop and learn from some of the best players in the world."

Miazga joined the Red Bulls in 2009 at the age of 14 and rose through the youth ranks at the club before making his debut in 2013 as a substitute in the 4-1 victory over Houston Dynamo.

#BBB NEWS| Arsene Wenger Becomes Second Highest-earning Manager In The World Following Jose Mourinho's Sack

Arsene Wenger has become the second highest-earning manager in world football following the sacking of Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.

Mourinho was finally shown the door by Roman Abramovich earlier today, following a dismal defence of the Blues' Premier League crown.

Chelsea have lost nine of their opening 16 matches in the top flight, sitting just a point above the relegation zone heading into Saturday's match against Sunderland.

Monday's defeat to Leicester City proved to be the final straw, and it means only Pep Guardiola now earns more money than Arsenal boss Wenger.
