#BBB NEWS| New Super Eagles Coaches To Receive Three-Month Salary Advance

New Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Ogorchukwu Oliseh, along with his two assistants, are to receive three months’ salary advances as they take up their assignments in Nigeria, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) said at their unveiling in Abuja on Wednesday.

NFF boss Amaju Pinnick made the surprising announcement as he welcomed the new coaches.   In the past, national coaches have sometimes been owed several months of unpaid wages.

Responding to the announcement after he signed a three-year contract, which has the option of an additional year, the Delta-State born coach opened up on his philosophy for players selection to his team.

“My assistants and myself will not invite to the camp of the National Team of Nigeria any player who is not playing in the top division in the recognized Leagues of the world, including Nigeria. The only exception would be those players from any of the age-grade National Teams that we find exceptional and deserving of an opportunity to try and win shirts in the senior team,” he declared.

#BBB NEWS| Sunday Oliseh Not Fit To Coach Nigeria's Super Eagles - Former Technical Adviser, Clemens Westerhof

Former Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Clemens Westerhof has condemned the move by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to offer untested Sunday Ogorchukwu Oliseh the coaching reins of the country's senior national team.

According to the Dutchman, Oliseh, his former player lacks the technical capability to lead the team, especially in this crucial time giving the sack of former coach, Stephen Keshi. He also maintained the NFF is committing a blunder by hiring a greenhorn coach who has not gotten the requisite experience to handle the team.

“No, no, that cannot be, he can’t be Super Eagles coach. Oliseh cannot, no, he can’t,” Westerhof said.

“If the Nigeria Football Federation is bringing Oliseh to handle the Super Eagles, then that is too bad because it is not right. It is not proper, he is not the right man for the job.”
