#BBB NEWS| Ed Sheeran Reaches Spotify Milestone As Second Artist To Hit Two Billion Streams

The good news just keeps on pouring in for Ed Sheeran. Following a successful international tour, the British singer has hit a new milestone on Spotify.

The “Thinking Out Loud” vocalist has reached the 2 billion streaming mark, making him the second artist to do so.

The star follows the lead of Eminem, who currently holds that top slot. In 2014, the 24-year-old musician also garnered the title of most streamed artist on the music service site, and his latest album, x, also debuted atop the Billboard Hot 200.

Sheeran now plans to take his talents to the Big Easy on Apr. 30 for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for a series of shows before he heads off to Las Vegas in May for the city’s Rock In Rio ceremony.
