
The movie’s worldwide success was tinged with sadness after one of the franchise’s leading men, Paul Walker, passed away in a fatal car crash in November 2013. Still, Furious 7 stars like Tyrese recently took to Instagram, mentioning that any follow-up would be made in Walker’s memory in his caption:

Vin paid homage to Walker (whom he affectionately calls “Pablo”) during Thursday’s presentation, saying, “I swear to you and to my brother upstairs [Paul Walker], we are going to make the best movie you’ve ever seen.”
Furious 8 will race into theaters on April 14, 2017.
