The victim claims that while at the Palms Casino resort an altercation broke out during the game, and he was punched by the singer. He also alleges that he was hit by another member of Brown’s entourage.
While Breezy has (so far) taken the smart route and remained silent on the matter, his publicist did release a statement to CNN, denying that he was involved.
“Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drai’s on May 5th and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well,” Brown’s publicist, Nicole Perna wrote in a statement. “He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person.”
Authorities attempted to speak with Brown at his hotel room, but has not questioned him thus far. He has been given the option to sign a citation for misdemeanor battery, or have the case taken to court for prosecution.
