#BBB NEWS| Mariah Carey To Perform At The Billboard Music Awards For The First Time In 17 Years

As some of music’s biggest stars prepare to descend upon Las Vegas for the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, it’s been announced Mariah Carey will hit the stage and perform for the first time in 17 years.

The R&B-pop superstar–who has earned 32 Billboard music awards throughout her career– and has more Billboard Hot 100s number ones than any other solo artist, will mesmerize the crowd May 17.

Mimi will hit the stage along with scheduled performers Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Britney Spears and Iggy Azaela. while Ludacris and Chrissy Tiegen host.

Before her performance, Mariah will kick-off her Las Vegas residency May 6 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, and release her greatest hits compilation #1 to Infinity May 18.

The 2015 Billboard Music Awards will air live 8pm, Sunday May 17, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
