Dwyane Wade has agreed to re-sign with the Miami Heat on a one-year, $20 million deal.

Wade opted out of his contract for the 15-16 season, which was worth $16.1 million.

Wade was initially seeking a long-term deal with the Heat.

“The Heat family and I have shared incredible moments over the years and I look forward to continuing our journey," wrote Wade in a statement.
