Benny Boom blessed the Internet with a new teaser clip from his upcoming Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me, yesterday morning (Sept 13). On the 20th anniversary of the iconic rapper’s passing we witness actor Demetrius Shipp Jr. bring the energy of the legend to the film.

We also get a peak at Danai Gurira of The Walking Dead, playing Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur in the newly released clip. She gives him some sound advice as he rises to the top of the rap charts. It’s definitely a bone chilling moment for the fans to take in.

Currently, the film has a set release date of Nov. 11, 2016.

Tupac Shakur’s final months before his death were spent in the lab creating music he hoped would further his legacy in the music history.

There reportedly was in a condition in his contract with Suge Knight that stated the West Coast legend would help with material with other Death Row artists.

Not only was the “All Eyez On Me” rapper making music for himself, he penned and produced songs for other artists — like MC Hammer — who signed to the label in 1995. The “Can’t Touch This” rapper had began to work on an album called Too Tight, which was never released.

Although we’ve heard his unreleased song with 2Pac and Big Daddy Kane, we’ve never heard Pac’s rendition of the title track of Hammer’s unreleased album in full.

#BBB NEWS| The Notorious B.I.G. Murder Detective Russell Poole Passes Away [PHOTOS]

Russell Poole, a retired Los Angeles Police Department detective and the lead investigator in the murder of The Notorious B.I.G., has died.

According to the Los Angeles Times, L.A. County sheriff’s deputies at the Homicide Bureau reported that Poole passed away Wednesday morning (Aug. 19) after collapsing during a meeting with detectives. Poole was rushed to a local hospital, where he died.

The former detective worked on Biggie’s case for about a year. During that time, he gained a lot of attention in his department for his theories about the late rapper’s killer. B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, was slain on March 9, 1997 as he was leaving a Soul Train Music Awards after party.
