Crew, penned thank you notes to Obama. Many have praised FLOTUS for stepping outside the lines by teaming up with up and coming designers and making a statement with regal, playful and bold fashion choices. From making J.Crew cool again to helping Narciso Rodriguez’s $2k marigold dress sell out in minutes, it’s clear Michelle has influenced everyone.

Ever since Donald Trump was determined to be the 45th President of the United States, many understandably scared civilians have tweeted, posted and pleaded for current First Lady Michelle Obama to throw her hat into the ring for a 2020 bid.

The hashtag #Michelle2020 even trended on Twitter for a while after the election results made headlines.

My friends, it’s looking like our dreams of another President Obama aren’t very likely. FLOTUS shut down the possibility of a Presidential run during an event for homeless Veterans in Washington D.C.. During her speech, a member of the audience yelled “run for President!” to which Mrs. Obama responded: “You be quiet back there.” She said it pretty seriously in tone, too, before chuckling.

United States First Lady Michelle Obama is one of the seven figures who will be gracing the special Oct. 23 edition of The New York Times’ style magazine, T. The cover stars, who include Lady Gaga, Junya Watanabe, Zadie Smith and William Eggleston, are touted as “The Greats” who are redefining our culture.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Jon Meacham, Gloria Steinem and Rashida Jones each penned love letters to Mrs. Obama, all of which noted her incredible run as First Lady.

From the scrutiny that plagued her and her family and how she overcame it with her powerful voice, to her effortless poise.

Melania Trump, wife of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, gave a speech during the first day of the 2016 Republican National Convention that bore striking similarities to a speech given by First Lady Michelle Obama in 2008.

The Trump campaign has denied allegations that Mrs. Trump knowingly lifted passages from Mrs. Obama’s 2008 speech, calling the accusations “absurd.”

But when one compares a portion of Mrs. Trump’s speech with the First Lady’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech, the similarities between the two become apparent.

Mrs. Trump said:

“From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life. That your word is your bond; that you do what you say and keep your promise. That you treat people with respect. They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily life. That is a lesson that I continue to pass along to our son and we need to pass those lessons to the many generations that follow. Because want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength to your dreams and your willingness to work for them.”

After making history becoming the first sitting U.S. president to visit Cuba in 90 years President Barack Obama just added another history making accomplishment to his presidency.

Mr. Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama headed to Buenos Aires, Argentina Wednesday, where they attended the state dinner and ended up hitting the tango with professional dancers.

A US president hasn’t traveled to Argentina since 2005 and despite trying to decline, President Obama made it all the more memorable with the Tango.

Just when you thought you couldn’t love the First Family more, they continue to show their resilience and intellect in the best way possible. President Barack Obama spoke about the effects of body shaming with Misty Copeland during their TIME interview last week.

In addition to tackling the subject of race and self-awareness in their respected fields, body shaming rose to the forefront after Copeland explained how she was ridiculed for her athletic and “larger” physique.

The president was surprised by her story, admitting that African-American women experience a high amount of body image struggles from their youth to adulthood. “When you’re a dad of two daughters, you notice more,” he said. “And that pressure I think is historically always been harder on African American women than just about any other women.”

The song, which will premiere on iTunes at midnight (Mar. 16), sees the superstars join forces with heavyweights Kelly Clarkson and Lea Michele and newcomers Chloe & Halle and Jadagrace in support of the First Lady’s Let Girls Learn movement and its #62MillionGirls initiative, a campaign purposed with helping the millions of preteen girls who are “denied the right to education” get in and stay in school.

Zendaya opens up the mid-tempo track before Kelly Rowland comes in on the chorus and encourages women to “Stand up, hold your head up, don’t take nothing from nobody.” Before the song comes to a close, Missy Elliott, who released her latest single “Pep Rally” last month, drops a hot 16 about ambitious, “next level” women everywhere.

December is a time for various publications to roll out their “Best of…” lists and reflect on what was big throughout the year. President and First Lady Barack and Michelle Obama spoke to People to talk about some of their personal pop culture favorites in 2015 for a special campaign edition of the mag.

Mr. Obama noted that his favorite song was Kendrick Lamar’s “How Much A Dollar Cost?”, his favorite movie was The Martian, his favorite TV show was Cinemax’s The Knick and his favorite book was Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff, “a novel that explores the key to a great marriage from two different perspectives,” the article reads.

Mrs. Obama, who is not shy about her love of pop culture staples such as Empire, revealed that Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ hit “Uptown Funk” was in heavy rotation for her in 2015. She also said the animated film Inside Out was her favorite film, Black-ish was her favorite show and Elizabeth Alexander’s memoir, The Light of the World, was her favorite read.

Hosted by the First Lady herself Michelle Obama, the event is apart of the 2015 Beating the Odds Summit that will take place this Thursday (July 23), hosting over 130 college-bound students in the nation’s capital.

The “Ambition” rapper will perform for the rising college stars and clutch a spot on an E! News panel with Mrs. Obama, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and co-founder of college student network 1vyG, Manuel Contreras. The students to attend stem from all different walks of life, including urban, impoverished, foster and homeless backgrounds.
