#BBB NEWS| Chris Brown’s Battery Case Has Been Dropped

A man who alleged to have been punched by Chris Brown Monday (May 4) during a pick-up basketball game in Las Vegas has withdrawn his claim.

According to reports, while staying in a suite at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Chris Brown played a game of ball, when words were exchanged and an altercation broke out. The unidentified man alleged he was punched by Brown and before defending himself, was hit again by a member of Brown’s entourage.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call from the victim while at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center after being treated for non-life threatening wounds.

Tuesday (May 5) the singer’s publicist released a statement offering Brown’s version of events. After being unable to locate Brown, authorities offered the “Loyal’ singer an option of signing a battery citation, which similar to a traffic ticket, isn’t an admission of guilt.

The news of the dropped battery case came just in time as Breezy celebrated his 26th birthday.
