Mike proceeded to Abuja, accompanied by his lawyer, Prof. Biodun Adesanya SAN. Indirectly related to this case, the EFCC had quizzed and released Mohammed Babangida, Ibrahim Babangida’s son. The EFCC purportedly were on the trail of some money belonging to the Petroleum Trust Development Fund (PTDF), but there was really more beneath the veneer.

Ice Cube has a traveling basketball league for retired NBA players kicking off next summer, The Vertical reports. Former Miami Heat player Roger Mason, will be stepping down as deputy director of the National Basketball Players Association, to join Cube and business partner Jeff Kwatinetz in the Big 3 league.

“I thought of this concept as a fan who got sick of seeing his heroes retire and not play anymore,” Cube told The Vertical. “A lot of these guys can still play once they retire – just not the back-to-backs or four games in five nights. I started to look at three-on-three basketball and wondered, ‘Why isn’t this played on a pro level?’ It’s the most normal form of basketball. And from there it was like, ‘Yo, why don’t we make this happen?’

Aside from Mason, Jermaine O’Neal, Kenyon Martin, Rashard Lewis, and Jason Williams, have signed on for the league, while Gary Payton will coach.

According to an ex-employee of the high-end designer Versace, the company informs their salespeople if a black person is walking through the store with a “secret code.”

The former male employee, who worked in a Bay Area store, “in a lawsuit says a manager told him about a store code called “D410,” which was used to casually let co-workers know a black person was present — as in, ‘we got a D410 in menswear,'” reports say. He also claims that he was treated differently as a black man working for the designer retailer, and was fired after only two weeks because “he hadn’t lived the luxury life.”

According to the suit, “D410″ is used for the black shirts that the store sells. However, if “D14” is searched in Versace’s online store, black clothes are the result, whereas if “D410” is searched, black, white and blue items come up.

“So happy to see my brother @nickcannon getting back to himself,” he captioned the post. “Nothing but love for you man…..”

Cannon, 36, also shared the picture to his Instagram account, thanking the two men and the rest of his fans for their support as he recovers from the setback caused by the autoimmune disease.

“Man, so many loving strong vibrations came to visit me in the hospital today!,” Cannon wrote. “Thank you to EVERYONE for all the gifts, messages, comments, the time, the love and the prayers… I’m getting there!!! And once I’m back… it’s about to be #Ncredible.”

Tupac Shakur’s music has reached a new level. One of Shri Lanka’s largest Christmas carol services apparently mixed up Pac’s “Hail Mary” lyrics with a traditional Catholic prayer.

According to reports, the lyrical mishap went down at Colombo’s Nelum Pokuna Theatre earlier in the month. More than 1,000 programs featured the late rap legend’s “Hail Mary” lyrics, during a charity event billed as a “festival of music for peace and harmony.”

Regardless of whether this was an actual mistake or a hoax of some sort, listening to Pac’s music can be a religious listening experience. On the flip side, “Hail Mary” opens with: “I ain’t a killa’ but don’t push me, revenge is like the sweetest joy next to getting pu**y.”

That’s probably not appropriate for a Christmas event.
