#BBB NEWS| Kevin Gates Sentenced To Prison For Kicking Female Fan [PHOTO/VIDEO]

Kevin Gates will spend the next 180 days in prison for kicking a female fan during a show in August of 2015 in Lakeland, Florida.

Gates had claimed Miranda Dixon was grabbing at his shorts, and had tried to pull him off of the stage. He had attempted to use Florida’s notorious Stand Your Ground law to have the case dismissed, but the judge rejected it.

During the trial, Gates’s lawyer argued that his client’s foot never touched Dixon, and that the 19-year old was trying to set up a civil settlement.

However the jury disagreed, and today Gates was found guilty of misdemeanor battery.

While prosecutors had only asked for 60 days, the judge decided to triple the sentence.

Gates will also serve one year of probation.

With The Weeknd’s third album, Starboy, on the way next month, he’s bound to take over the fall once again with his fogged, slow-rolling alt R&B joints. But this time around, he’s preparing with some cool duds for his loyal listeners.

While the details of the merchandise that will be available is minimal, his previous XO-designed goods are probably the best precursor of what’s to come: graphic-centric street wear staples like hoodies, snap backs, t-shirts affixed with his stark white logo.

The adapted musical will fuse all genres of music including hip hop, according to Billboard. Ice Cube and Kwatinetz are also penning a narrative for the new story.

Biggs conducted an interview with Page 6 at his Reasonable Doubt pop up shop and said when he last spoke to Kanye, he spoke highly of Jay, but he isn’t sure of their relationship at this point.
