A devoted Tupac fan is now the new owner of the late rapper’s vintage Hummer H1, after paying a hefty $337,114, reports CNN.

Shakur’s old ride was purchased just a mere three months before he was killed 20 years ago. He was tragically shot on September 7, 1996, and died three days later at 25 years-old.

The “Ambitionz Az A Ridah” rapper customized the vehicle with off-road lights, diamond plate bumpers, 360-degree spotlight and a grille guard along with an external PA system coupled with three sirens. Also, it was equipped with an automatic transmission and a 6.5 liter turbo diesel V8 engine.

The inside of the truck is draped in beige leather with trimmings of burl wood. The buyer is a Tupac fan and collector from the Midwest, who wishes to remain anonymous, according to RR Auction.  After Tupac’s death, his late mother, Afeni Shakur, has owned the Hummer and several other owners.

The Nigerian Army today announced the death of an unnamed man, described as the “chief bomb maker” of the Boko Haram terror group, reportedly at the hands of a bodyguard of militant leader Abubakar Shekau.

A statement by Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, the Acting Director of Army Public Relations said the development was a major breakthrough in the clearance and rescue operation by the Nigerian military, and that it also confirms that all is not well within the Boko Haram terrorist's camp.

“The chief bomb maker, apart from his high status in the command structure of the Boko Haram terrorists, he was one of their capable hands involved in making Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), coming after their chief scientist, called Abu RPG (who has been killed long ago),” he said.

He added that the man was shot by the bodyguard as he was about to run away as many other terrorists are now doing on account of the intensity of the army’s Operation CRACKDOWN.

Vice President Oluyemi Osinbajo yesterday in Lagos stood in for President Muhammadu Buhari to commission a series of projects by the Lagos State government. 

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, several ministers, state commissioners and other government officials accompanied Vice President Osinbajo to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) response unit at Cappa Oshodi, Lagos. Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos was also present.

In his speech, Governor Ambode outlined the reasons for the establishment of LASEMA, and urged all Lagosians, including the enforcement agencies, to cooperate with LASEMA. “Many people lost their lives and sources of livelihood not because of the initial incident but from the delay in the response time due to inadequate resources and training. Our initial goal is to significantly bring down response time by our responders,” the governor said.

Khaled signing with Cognac is not the first bit of exciting news he’s had in 2016. He’s releasing a new album soon, opening for Beyonce on her “Formation” world tour and is reportedly going to be a first-time father later this year.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards produced a handful of show stopping moments on Sunday night (May 22) in Las Vegas.

From Rihanna’s memorable performance to a moving Prince tribute by Madonna — who also had Stevie Wonder join in — the evening was filled with big surprises.

We have to say the aforementioned tribute was our favorite performance of the evening. The Roots’ Questlove delivered an amazing speech about the Purple One. He then called one of the late musician’s collaborators — and a fellow musical icon to the stage.

“I want to take a moment to remember the great Prince Rogers Nelson,” said Questlove of the Roots before a moment of silence. “It can be a moment of silence, but inside our heads, it should be anything but silent.”

Funnyman Mike Epps is the latest entertainer to put aside his career to fulfill his educational pursuits. The 45-year-old revealed on his Instagram account that he received his high school diploma from Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis, Ind., earlier this week.

In a photo with his mother, Epps expressed his elation in achieving this feat, and wrote “From a class clown to becoming world renowned #nevergiveup,” before posting other images of the occassion on the social media app.

#BBB NEWS| Mexico Approves The Extradition Of El Chapo To The U.S.

The process to have Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman extradited to the United States became a reality now that Mexico’s Foreign Relations Department officially approved the move.

According to NPR, the decision was reached between the two countries Friday (May 20). “We understand that the Mexican Foreign Ministry has now approved our two requests for extradition, following their approval by Mexican courts,” a U.S.

Department of Justice spokesman said. Mexican leaders voiced their wishes to have El Chapo tried in the states earlier this month. As of today, El Chapo is facing charges of money-laundering, and arms and drugs possession from up to seven U.S. federal prosecutors in Chicago, New York, Miami and San Diego.

The Bad Boy family just wrapped up round two of epic performances and guest appearances at the Barclay Center. Yet in addition to celebrating 20 years of hits, the reunion was dedicated to celebrating the life and legacy of the Notorious B.I.G., on what would have been his 44th birthday.

Christopher Wallace Jr., Biggie’s son, also took the time to reflect on the memorable night.

“It’s crazy seeing the crowd’s reaction for me,” he said standing behind the Bad Boy stage. “It’s crazy seeing the effect that the music’s had on people for over 20 years and still being able to bring that vibe and spirit and all that energy into the arena.”

You may remember a younger Christopher when he played his father as a child in the 2009 Notorious biopic. The  reunion concert, which sold out in 20 minutes, brought out thousands of fans who enjoyed the hits of some of the most influential artists dating back from the 90s until now.
