The season 3 debut attracted 2.26 million viewers, the most-watched episode of a STARZ original in the network’s history. On the heels of shattering records, the Power cast and crew had yet another reason to celebrate after STARZ renewed the series for two additional seasons.

Now, Fifty wants the world to know this is only the beginning. The G-Unit veteran took to Instagram to boast about the good news and even hinted that he’s on the road to becoming the next Tyler Perry.

Wale just entered a new chapter in his life alongside longtime girlfriend, Chloe Alexis, and it begins with the birth of their first child.

On Friday afternoon (July 22), the Folarin artist welcomed his baby girl in New York City after his significant other endured a long labor process since Wednesday, TMZ reports, leading Wale to cancel his performance at the One Africa Music Fest in Brooklyn.

The happy couple also decided to name their new bundle of joy Zyla Moon Oluwakemi.

After an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Golden Globe award winning actor played a game called “Box of Microphones” with the television host. Following his selection of Desiigner’s “Panda” and a Chipmunk microphone, Elba went straight into song. And it’s gold.

Fallon and Elba closed the game with a rendition of Lionel Richie and Diana Ross’ “Endless Love.” I’m sure you can guess which one was Richie.

Melania Trump, wife of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, gave a speech during the first day of the 2016 Republican National Convention that bore striking similarities to a speech given by First Lady Michelle Obama in 2008.

The Trump campaign has denied allegations that Mrs. Trump knowingly lifted passages from Mrs. Obama’s 2008 speech, calling the accusations “absurd.”

But when one compares a portion of Mrs. Trump’s speech with the First Lady’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech, the similarities between the two become apparent.

Mrs. Trump said:

“From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life. That your word is your bond; that you do what you say and keep your promise. That you treat people with respect. They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily life. That is a lesson that I continue to pass along to our son and we need to pass those lessons to the many generations that follow. Because want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength to your dreams and your willingness to work for them.”

CNN is establishing a multi-platform operation in Lagos, Nigeria. Launching specifically in Lagos, the operation is designed to increase news coverage of Africa and give the network a strong digital presence on the continent.

According to Deborah Rayner, an SVP for news gathering at CNN International, Nigerian native Stephanie Busari will lead the operation. “This is a truly integrated role, and one that underlines CNN’s commitment to both Nigeria and Africa as a whole,” Rayner began. “Stephanie will work across our platforms on both news and feature content.

In particular, she will head CNN’s Africa content across digital – responding to breaking news and managing our Africa features projects.  She will also be central to CNN International’s coverage of the continent on television.”
