#BBB NEWS| Mary J. Blige Confirms Divorce Rumors: “There Is A Divine Plan And A Reason For Everything”

Mary J. Blige isn’t keeping the public guessing after rumors of her impending divorce to husband and longtime manager Martin “Kendu” Isaacs made headlines yesterday (July 28).

A member of the R&B veteran’s camp released a statement to People to confirm the news that Blige’s marriage has run its course after 13 years. “Ms. Blige is saddened to say it is true that she has filed for divorce, saying sometimes things don’t work how we hoped they would,” the rep said. “But, there is a divine plan and a reason for everything.”

Blige has reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as the source of her divorce and has pursued termination of spousal support.

Less than a year ago, DJ Khaled released his eighth studio album with I Changed A Lot. Today (July 29), the We The Best advocate unrolled his newest effort, Major Key (Epic).

The 14-track album features heavyweights like Nas, Jadakiss, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, and many others.

Major Key’s lead singles for Summer ’16 are anthems “I Got The Keys,” “For Free,” and “Holy Key” with Jay and Future, Drake, and the collab with Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar, respectively.

“I went Quincy Jones on this one,”  Khaled said during a recent Major Key listening session.

#BBB NEWS| WATCH: Barack Obama Endorses Hillary Clinton In Speech At The Democratic National Convention [VIDEO]

President Barack Obama took the stage to speak in Philadelphia, Penn., last night (July 27), headlining the third night of the Democratic National Convention, passing the baton to Hillary Clinton, as potentially the next President of The United States.

The skilled orator began his address that he was up until 3 a.m Tuesday rewriting, calling back to his popular 2004 DNC speech that helped begin his rise to becoming the future president.

The 54-year-old spoke about his health care reform plan, the economic comeback after the recession, killing of Osama bin Laden, and legalization of gay marriage as some of his many accomplishments during his eight years in office.

“There has never been a man or a woman, not me, not Bill, not anybody more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America” said Obama.

#BBB NEWS| Mary J. Blige Reportedly Files For Divorce From Husband/Manager Martin ‘Kendu’ Isaacs

After 13 years of marriage, singer and actress Mary J. Blige has filed for divorce from her husband and manager Martin “Kendu” Isaacs, according to TMZ.

Blige and Isaacs got married in 2003, and Blige has listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She has also reportedly asked the judge to block Isaacs’ ability to pursue alimony.

While the exact reasoning for this split currently remains unknown, there have been signals of trust issues coming from this now ex-couple in the past. Specifically, the No More Drama singer does not believe married people should have friends of the opposite sex.

#BBB NEWS| WATCH: Kobe Bryant Drives A Ferrari 'Fiorano' On A Race Track In Italy [VIDEO]

Even in retirement Kobe Bryant is living the life of a legend. The Black Mamba did a movie appearance, a European tour for Nike, and has a third baby on the way. After the Netherlands stop of the tour, Kobe headed to the place where he spent a large portion of his childhood, Italy.

Kobe was in Italy for his Mamba Mentality European Tour; after leaving Milan, he went to Maranello, the home of Ferrari world headquarters. He of course got an opportunity to use the famous Fiorano circuit track.

According to Sole Collector (photos there), he tested brand new cars like the GTC4Lusso.

Kobe looked very comfortable on the track.  Retired life is treating him well. Watch video and see photos below..

Jidenna had quite a run following the release of his debut single “Classic Man,” but what’s a ‘little bit more’ fun right?

After releasing his single “Little Bit More” earlier this year, the Nigerian American singer is back with the visuals for the track — and they are everything we expected — and a little bit more.

The video opens up to Jidenna peacefully riding around on a boat that’s sailing on, perhaps, the bluest body of water one’s ever seen. It’s not long before the video cuts to a shot of the singer’s love interest, and then back to the singer himself in a bold blue and orange outfit. Needless to say, the colors in this video are very bright.

#BBB NEWS| Drake’s “VIEWS” Takes Number One Spot On The Billboard 200 Chart for 11th Week

Drake’s Views remains atop the Billboard charts as the number one album for an 11th time. After nine consecutive weeks on top, Views was shortly dethroned by Blink 182’s California earlier in July, but is now back in the number one spot for the last two weeks.

The Canadian rapper’s fourth LP has the most weeks at number one since Taylor Swift’s 2014 album, “1989”, which was last seen at number one for the week of February 21st, 2015.

Views sold 89,000 album units for the week ending July 21st, even though 64% of the sales are from streaming. Sales dropped three percent from last week according to Billboard.

In the last 20 years, Views is only one of eight albums to attain the number one spot for at least 11 weeks.

Nigerian Pop star Tiwa Savage has released a teaser for the video of her song Bad which features Wizkid.

This comes immediately after a successful show in Brooklyn, New York at the One Africa Music Fest which held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Barclays Center courtesy of Upfront & Personal, a company owned by entertainment entrepreneur and publicist Paul Okoye. 

The 36-year-old mother of one gave a thrilling performance at the star-studded concert, after which she partied with her fans at the 40/40 Club in celebration of her management deal with Roc Nation.

While memories of the show are still fresh in many hearts, she drops a snippet of her MTVBase exclusive video for Bad featuring Wizkid.

#BBB NEWS| Dr. Dre Cuffed After Alleged Racial Incident Outside His Home [PHOTO]

There was quite a scene in front of Dr. Dre’s Malibu crib yesterday. The legendary rapper was cuffed right outside of his gate after police got a 911 call claiming the 51-year old waved a gun at a motorist who had stopped his car in front of his pad.

Dre admits to asking the driver to move because he was blocking his driveway. But he says he had no gun.

Dre’s sources tell TMZ the motorist began cursing Dre, and said “Here we go again another black guy with a gun.” They also say Dre recorded the whole incident.

The cops didn’t find a weapon on Dre. TMZ reports that the motorist still tried to make a citizens arrest on Dre.

Although the deputies declined to make a physical arrest, it’s still unclear if Dre was charged with anything. See photo below;
