#BBB NEWS| President Obama Arrives Kenya In ‘The Beast’! Check It Out.. [PHOTOS]

United States president, Barrack Obama, has arrived Kenya, his ancestral home. He arrived in a bullet proof-glassed limousine popularly called ‘The Beast’ for the first time as a serving US president .

Obama, who is on a two-day visit to have a chat with the Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta and other top officials, arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, with the limousine ready to pick him up.

According to the BBC, the US president would deliver a “blunt message” to African leaders concerning gay rights and discrimination. He is also billed to visit Ethiopia to show the United States’ commitment to fighting terror in East Africa.

50 Cent’s legal gloom might be coming to a close. A Manhattan jury has ruled for the Queens native to pay $2 million in punitive damages for the unsolicited release of Lastonia Leviston’s sex tape, The Wrap reports.

The case was brought to court earlier this year with reports stating that Fifty was originally mandated to pay $5 million, but filed for bankruptcy.

Leviston’s lawyer Hunter Shkolnik also released a statement on the ruling. “The jury saw through the lies and punished Mr. Jackson. We are so happy for Lastonia, she deserves this.” Leviston’s legal team reportedly called for 50 Cent to pay $15 million, but settled for $2 million.

Despite Drake’s silence on the ghostwriting allegations, the suspected individual in question, Quentin Miller, has revealed his thoughts on the matter.

Earlier this week, Meek Mill shook up everyone’s Twitter timeline when he called out Drizzy for supposedly not being the pen master behind his raps. Miller’s name surfaced after he was credited as a songwriter on the Toronto native’s track “10 Bands,” but a reference track with a similar flow and lyrics was released by Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex.

Now, Miller has responded to the recent headline, stating, “I am not and never will be a ‘ghostwriter’ for Drake…I’m proud to say we’ve collaborated…but I could never take credit for anything other than the few songs we worked on together.”

The President of the United States, Barack Obama, landed at Kenyatta International Airport (KIA) at about 8:02pm local time. As President Obama disembarked Air Force One he was greeted by a little girl in a white dress who curtsied, according to reports. He was then met by Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta and his sister Auma who lives in Kenya.

Accompanying President Obama on Air Force One were several aides including National Security Adviser Susan Rice, the Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, the White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, and President Obama’s Deputy Chief of Staff Anita Decker Breckenridge.

In addition to his aides a “1,000-strong delegation of American government officials, businesspeople, and politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties,” according to the Daily Nation of Kenya.

Immediate past Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Kingsley Kuku has said that he is ready to assist the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in its bid to probe the accounts of the agency under his leadership.

Kuku, who spoke from the United States of America where he is undergoing a medical procedure, said that the allegations of conspiracy, stealing, abuse of office and diversion of public funds being made against him, did not arise as the records of his administration were clear and available for scrutiny.

“I’m currently in the U.S for an urgent surgery on my knee and will certainly return to honour the EFCC invitation once I recuperate in September.

“The record of my stewardship under the Presidential Amnesty Programme is an open document and it is available for scrutiny since I have nothing to hide about what we did,” Kuku said on the phone.

The Borno State Police Command paraded 11 suspects for the media on Wednesday in the State capital, Maiduguri.

The criminals are alleged to have been involved in many crimes in the area. Weapons as well a large sum of money were confiscated from them.

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has dissociated itself from a meeting of “MEND/Ex-MEND Leaders” scheduled to hold tomorrow, July 25, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

In a statement, it denounced the meeting as “an assembly of dubious contractors and disgruntled elements,” reacting on behalf of oil thieves and corrupt officials of the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

“The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) reaffirms our support for President Buhari and his government’s courage to probe the immediate past Goodluck Jonathan administration, which should also include the office of the Ex-President, the former First Lady and the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme,” it said.

Will Smith and Jay Z found success when they signed on as producers for the Broadway musical, Fela, and now the two will team up again to produce an HBO mini series about Emmett Till.

Entertainment Weekly reports the two, along with Jay Brown, James Lassiter, and Aaron Kaplan are executive producing the untitled mini series. Emmett Till was a 14 year old from Chicago sent to spend the summer in Mississippi.

One evening, Till was kidnapped from his bedroom and savagely beaten by white men because he whistled at a white woman. At Till’s funeral, his mother had an open casket to showcase the brutality of her son’s death.

Drake finally speaks out on the Meek Mill rant but indirectly to Meek and the waiting on lookers.

Rapper, Hitman reached out to his mentor Drake to let him know that he is on his side. Actually congratulating Drake on all his accomplishments, letting him know that he is still a lot of rapper motivation.

If there was ever any doubt in J.Cole’s mind that he’s arrived, being featured on Janet Jackson’s remix for her sultry single “No Sleep” is all the proof he needs. Cole can now proudly say “Mama, I made it!”

As reported by Billboard, the 2014 Forest Hills Drive artist collaborated with Jackson in a LA studio about two weeks ago, and the single should hit the airwaves Thursday.

Jackson’s solo version of “No Sleep,” which will not appear on the album, leaped to Number 5 on Billboard’s Adult R&B airplay charts, making it the icon’s first top five song in more than a decade.

President Muhammadu Buhari immediately shut down a question about same-sex marriage in Nigeria during a session with US Congress members in Washington, DC.

According to his spokesman Femi Adesina, President Buhari was “point blank” with the American lawmakers.

“Sodomy is against the law in Nigeria, and abhorrent to our culture,” Mr. Adesina said in a tweet on Wednesday.

The daughter of former President Umaru Yar’ Adua and wife of former Kebbi State Governor, Saidu Dakingari, Zaina Dakingari, has been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over alleged fraud to the tune of N2billion perpetrated during her husband’s tenure as governor of the Northwest State.

Also invited for questioning for alleged money laundering is Toyin Saraki, wife of the Senate President and former governor of Kwara State, Bukola Saraki.

Mrs Saraki, a source at the anti-graft agency disclosed, is wanted in relation to questionable inflow of funds into companies where she has interest. She is expected to report at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja on July 28, 2015; where a crack team of investigators have already been assembled to grill her.

A leader of students who protested on Wednesday against the workings of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), which randomly allocates candidates to separate institutions, has alleged that the program’s registrar, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, has an agreement with private universities to selectively divert candidates to them against the will of the applicants themselves. The bold allegation came from Dotun Sodunke, the President of the Association of Tutorial Center Operators (ATCO).

Speaking to journalists at the protest, which took place on the campus of University of Lagos (UNILAG), Mr. Sodunke emphasized that private universities paid Professor Ojerinde to help them divert candidates from the last JAMB tests for them to have student populations in their less patronized institutions.

According to him, “250,000 barrels per day of Nigerian crude are being stolen and people sell and put the money into individual accounts,” adding that the United States and other developed countries “are helping us to trace such accounts now.

A title, position, and corner office may earn them extra pay and benefits, but respect is something that does not automatically come with a leadership position. This has to be earned and is one of the most difficult entities for a leader to acquire.

Respected leaders are not always liked by everyone and not always popular. A leader may be well liked as a person, yet be weak and afraid to make difficult decisions, shows favoritism to those who stroke his/her ego, and be quite ineffective.

On the other hand, there are leaders who intimidate their subordinates and use fear as a way of getting things done. Neither of these leaders will earn the respect of their employees. If we take a closer look at leaders who have walked the difficult path that have earned them respect, we will see the following traits.

1. They are willing to do or have done what they expect of others
Leaders should not ask others to do something that they have not done in the past nor would they be willing to do now. They lead by example and their efforts will set a standard for the rest of the organization. If they are unwilling to put in the extra time and effort into a project they expect of their staff, they will be seen as hypocrites and lose the respect of those under them. Leaders who are highly respected will put in at least as much time and effort as those they serve. Often they will lead by being the hardest working person on their team.

Former Head of Service Stephen Oronsaye was granted bail “in self-recognizance” on Tuesday during court proceedings for the N2 billion fraud he and a colleague are accused of by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), according to a statement by the agency.

“In self-recognizance” means that no bail amount was posted because the accused individual “recognizes” his or her obligation to appear at the next court date, which for Mr. Oronsaye is on October 5. Justice Gabriel Kolawale of the Federal High Court in Abuja also ordered that Mr. Oronsaye’s passport be deposited with the court.

Osarenkhoe Afe, who is accused of the N2 billion fraud along with Mr. Oronsaye, received far less favorable bail conditions. He is required to post N50 million and fulfill other bail conditions or he will be remanded to prison on July 24.

The World Bank unveiled a plan to spend $2.1 billion rebuilding the infrastructure of Nigeria’s northeastern region at a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday in Washington, DC.

The plan would tackle some of the infrastructure problems faced by residents who have been most affected by the attacks of Boko Haram, which is based in the area.

According to his spokesman Femi Adesina, President Buhari also stressed the need to incorporate into the plan the resettlement of the more than one million internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the North-East.

During an interview on Tuesday with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria said that his administration would be willing to negotiate with Boko Haram if it meant returning the 219 Chibok schoolgirls from captivity.

The girls were captured by the militant group in northeastern Nigeria in April 2014.

“If we are convinced that the [Boko Haram] leadership… can deliver those girls we would be prepared to negotiate what they want,” President Buhari told the CNN host during an interview on his official visit to the US.

President Buhari also said that the US had agreed to help the Nigerian military in the fight against Boko Haram, and that he had asked for assistance in training, equipment, and intelligence.

WELP!! it’s finally over. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have taken the final step in getting divorced.

According to TMZ Sports, Khloe and Lamar both signed legal docs that will officially end their marriage. Court records show the documents were filed with the court on Friday. All that’s left is a judge’s signature, and they’re officially single.

It’s been a long time coming. Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013 and sat on it for more than a year. There was no activity in the file, to the point the judge threatened to dismiss the case. Khloe and Lamar both waffled on the divorce, and at times they talked reconciliation.

NBA Champion and Orlando Magic hall of famer Shaquille O’Neal, recently took to Instagram to fire some shots at fellow champion and legendary Chicago Bull Scottie Pippen. The attack resulted in a social media match between the two.

Shaq started by posting a pic, which features himself, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Elgin Baylor and Kobe Bryant. Along with Chicago Bulls players including: Michael Jordan, Derrick Rose, Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant and Pippen of course.

If there’s anything we know, it’s that Drake adores his loyal fans. On Monday night (July 20), Young Money’s rap prince sent a special message to one by the name of Jamal Utton, who recently passed away during a rugby tour.

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has concluded plans to commence the probe of the former President Goodluck Jonathan with investigations into the financial transactions of his ministers and aides.

The PUNCH learnt that the Chairman of the commission, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, had already directed that all petitions against former public officers at the federal level should be forwarded to him to be acted upon.

Findings showed that former ministers, special advisers, heads of parastatals and those of other Federal Government agencies would be invited for interrogation by the EFCC in few weeks from now.

PUNCH correspondents learnt that the anti-graft agency would focus on those whose establishments attracted huge allocations from the Federal Government when Jonathan was in power.

Heartless: Craig Lewis, 55, was the first man to have a 'continuous flow' pump to replace his entire heart - and now has no pulse. In March of last year, Craig Lewis, was dying from a heart condition that caused build-ups of abnormal proteins, and not even a pacemaker could help save his life.

But two doctors from the Texas Heart Institute proposed a revolutionary new solution – install a ‘continuous flow’ device that would allow blood to circulate his body without a pulse.

Dr Billy Cohn and Dr Bud Frazier installed the device after removing Mr Lewis’ heart. Within a day, the patient was up and speaking with physicians.

The two doctors had developed the device some time before and had tested it on nearly 50 calves.

They removed the animals’ hearts, and by the next day, the calves were doing everything they were the day before – eating, sleeping, and moving – but this time, without a heart pumping blood through their bodies.
