Fresh off a visit with a young cancer patient in a North Carolina hospital, J. Cole comes through on “Black Friday” with some new heat over Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell’s “Alright.”

Maybe it’s just me, but it seems as if Jermaine is even more focused. Here, on “Black Friday,” Cole spazzes for a little over two minutes about getting paper, giving the finger to Uncle Sam and selling his Range Rover because cops keep giving him the crooked eye. 

The Dreamville head honcho even touches on his rumored collab tape with K.Dot.

We’re not sure what Cole World has up his sleeve coming this February– as he hints on “Black Friday,”– but we’re definitely looking forward to it.

#BBB NEWS| EFCC Arrests ‘Pastor’ For N200 Million Fraud [PHOTOS]

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested one Jonathan Ibinabo Alatoru,  a self-acclaimed pastor and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Chemtronics Nigeria Limited, for conspiracy, forgery and obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N200 million.

The suspect, who had earlier jumped the administrative bail granted him by the Commission, was arrested by operatives of EFCC in a sting operation on Thursday, November 26, 2015, in Abuja.

The 55-year-old suspect had been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Abuja for the construction of a skill acquisition centre at Igualeba, Orhiomwon LGA, in Edo State, to the tune of N1.7billion.

The contract, which was supposed to be completed within a year, was, however, terminated in 2011 when he could not complete the structure 18 months after.

#BBB NEWS| Nigerian Navy Captures Vessel Laden With 4,000 Tons Of Stolen Oil

The Nigerian Navy paraded a MT Camilee vessel alleged to be laden with 4,000 metric tons of stolen crude oil at the Wari naval base in Delta State, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

In addition to the ship, 11 crew members were also apprehended by Naval officials.

Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Central Naval Command, Yenagoa, Rear Adm. Apochi Suleiman informed members of the press that the ship was intercepted on November 15th.  The admiral went on to note that the 11 crew members were currently under interrogation.

Thousands of ebullient Kenyans greeted Pope Francis upon his arrival to the country on Wednesday.

According to the New York Times, the Pope departed from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in a Honda in stark contrast to the fleet of black Mercedes which carried various Kenyan officials.

Pope Francis’ arrival kicks off his five-day visit to Africa, his first since becoming Pope.  In addition to Kenya, the Pope is scheduled to visit Uganda and the Central African Republic.  Upon his arrival in Kenya, he advocated for peace noting that conflict and terrorism "feed on fear, mistrust, and the despair born of poverty and frustration". 

The East African nation is no stranger to terrorism, in July 150 people were killed by Al-Shabab militants during an attack upon the University of Garissa.  Kenyan military forces are currently fighting the group in Somalia.

#BBB NEWS| Chris Brown’s ‘Royalty’ Gets Official Release Date

Chris Brown sat down with Nessa from HOT 97 on Monday (Nov. 23), to discuss some of the matters behind his forthcoming album, Royalty.

Although Breezy’s Twitter page says that the album, named in honor of his baby daughter, was set to drop on Black Friday, the “Zero” singer says that his fans will have to wait a tad bit longer before they’re dancing in the streets.

“On Black Friday, the pre-orders will be there,” he said to the radio personality. “But the real date is gonna be December 18th.” CB also said that every time he puts new music out, he gets extremely nervous about the uncertainty of the reactions toward it.

“It’s a new start, it’s like I’m tryna prove myself again- that I can consistently make good music.”

One thing is certain — being a father won’t change Chris’ subject matter for his future music.

These days, Justin Bieber can’t really complain about life. His newest album Purpose debuted at number one on the Billboard charts (his sixth to do so), and his set at the 2015 American Music Awards was straight fire. Now, he’s broken an impressive record that was once held by The Beatles.

Biebs is now the record holder for having the most songs on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart in one week, according to Billboard Biz. The young crooner has 17 melodies on the chart, with the highest position being the number two slot thanks to his jam, “Sorry.”

The record was held by The Beatles, who set the former record in 1964 when 14 of their songs were on the chart all at once. Drake accomplished this feat earlier this year in both March and October, tying the record previously held by the Fab Four. This unprecedented feat that Bieber accomplished was likely due to the pop star pulling a Beyonce and releasing music videos for 17 of the 18 songs on the album.

#BBB NEWS| Source Says Lamar Odom “Will Never Be The Same Again”

After overdosing at a Nevada brothel last month, basketball star Lamar Odom’s health has been in question. A source close to the athlete tells People Magazine that although he has shown many signs of improvement, the former Sixth Man of the Year “will never be the same again.”

“Lamar has made some progress, but his cognitive impairment is making life very challenging,” the source told the publication. Odom reportedly has been having difficulty walking on his own as well as forming sentences, likely due to the oxygen deprivation and multiple strokes he suffered.

“Lamar won’t likely leave the hospital for a long time, and when he does, he will need full time care. He can’t take care of himself,” the source continued.

The Fresh Prince Will Smith once said that the starring role in Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti western Django Unchained wasn’t “big enough” to be considered the lead. Now, almost two years later, the entertainer is changing his tune.

Smith, who will embark on a world tour with his friend DJ Jazzy Jeff in the future, said during The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Actor’s Roundtable that the film was too violent for him to consider being a part of. The role of Django went to Jamie Foxx instead.

“We can’t look at what happens in Paris and want to f**k somebody up for that,” he said in reference to the recent terrorist attacks in France. “Violence begets violence. I just couldn’t connect to violence being the answer. Love had to be the answer.” Tarantino’s films are known for their over-the-top violent scenes, and Big Willie wanted the film to be much more than the gore.

Government officials and their allies who have stolen from the public purse since 1999 must prepare to return what they took, President Muhammadu Buhari has said.

The Nigerian leader made the ominous remark on Tuesday during an interaction with the Nigerian community in Tehran, Iran, as he spoke on issues of corruption, revealing that a number of past officials have voluntarily begun the return of stolen funds.

He however stressed that his government will not accept tokenism.  "We want to have everything back – all that they took by force in 16 years,” he declared in a statement signed by presidential spokesman Garba Shehu.

It had erroneously been thought that his anti-corruption focus would only cover the previous administration of Mr. Goodluck Jonathan.  His statement means the drive will be broader and bigger.

#BBB NEWS| We Stole 28 Million From The Agbara Bank Robbery - Says Leader, Reveals How They Killed 9 DSS Operatives [PHOTO]

Kelly Fotor, the leader of the armed robbery gang that robbed some commercial banks at Agbara Housing Estate in Ogun state last week Thursday, has revealed that his gang stole N28 million from the banks they raided.

Kelly, a native of Arugbo in Ondo state, was arrested on Saturday at a wedding in Sapele. He said he and his gang members were formerly sea pirates before regrouping to form a robbery gang.

He said one of them named Ossy who is the leader of pipeline vandals in Arepo and Ikorodu, controlled the South West operations of the gang while he, Kelly, controlled the South South operations of the gang.

He revealed that his gang was responsible for the recent robbery incidents in Festac, Lekki and Ikorodu areas in Lagos state.

#BBB NEWS| President Buhari Arrives In Iran Ahead Of GECF Summit

On Sunday, President Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Iran to participate in the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, (GECF) summit on Monday, according to Premium Times.

The Deputy President of Iran, Shariat Madri, received President Buhari at the Mehrabad International Airport.

The President was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu and the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno. 

During his two-day visit President Buhari is expected to speak with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.  He will also speak with the Nigerian diaspora in Iran, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Former Governor Abubakar Audu of Kogi State has won the tightly contested governorship election in the state, according official results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commisison (INEC) in Lokoja the Kogi state capital.

Mr. Audu, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated the incumbent governor, Captain Idris Wada (ret.), of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) .

Mr. Audu scored 240, 867 votes to defeat Mr. Wada who scored 205, 977 votes.
