#BBB NEWS| The Weeknd (And His New Haircut) Announces New Album, ‘STARBOY’ [COVER ART/PHOTO]

As the saying goes, “out with the old, in with the new.” It seems as though Toronto’s own The Weeknd has taken the phrase to heart when it comes to his new material and his new image.

In a new Instagram post, the moody music crooner took to his timeline to release the cover artwork to a brand new album, STARBOY.

The imagery is a stark change from his other LPs in that not only are there more vivid colors, but there seems to be a whole lot of hair missing.

In the portrait, which was shot by video director and photographer Nabil Elderkin, the man born Abel Tesfaye stares into the camera holding his cropped head of hair, the trademark cluster of upright locks noticeably absent.

#BBB NEWS| School Daze: A Movie About Barack Obama’s College Days Is Coming To Neflix [PHOTO]

There’s another must-watch film hitting Netflix. Following a great reception at this year’s Toronto Film Festival, the streaming service has picked up Barry, a biopic chronicling President Barack Obama’s college years.

According to Deadline, the movie/TV streaming service bought out every other service or distributor with a reported $4.5 million bidding price tag. The Vikram Gandhi-directed film is set in the early 1980s and depicts a 20-year-old Barack (played by Devon Terrell) who recently transferred to Columbia University in New York City.

Obama’s collegiate journey was a significant time because it was when the future POTUS realized the roles that race and privilege played in education and society in general. Devon Terrell will star as Barry alongside Straight Outta Compton’s Jason Mitchell, as well as Ella Coltrane, and Ashley Judd.

#BBB NEWS| WATCH: Sean Kingston Takes Shots At The Game On Instagram [VIDEO]

If there really are three sides to every story, then we’ll likely never really know the whole truth behind The Game and Meek Mill’s beef. Nonetheless, Sean Kingston would like to add a chapter.

Kingston hopped on Instagram Saturday (Sept. 17) to take a few shots at The Game in a series of videos that he later deleted.

Near the end of one post, Kingston claims that he was indeed cracked over the head “with a bottle” and robbed by the Compton rapper’s friends.
