This week, Khaled unveiled another major video by rolling out the Eiff Rivera-directed mini-film, “Nas Album Done.” Here,  Nas, Khaled and Ox, from the movie Belly, relax in the tropical waters of the Bahamas, smoke cigars, and dance next to flawless women.

At the beginning and end of the video, OX and Khaled trade amusing, yet uplifting words for the youth and those trapped in the ghetto.

“Nas Album Done” is featured on Khaled’s recently released album, Major Key.

News broke last weekend that Lil Wayne planned to retire from the rap game indefinitely, which sparked commentary from his peers including Drake to Chance The Rapper.

Now we have Kendrick Lamar urging Wayne to stick with it:

    “Public service announcement, nigga. We in the motherfucking studio. 5:32 to be exact,” K.Dot, who’s obviously been drinking, says. “Niggas talkin’ bout squad up, that’s cliche! We going all the way back, when he was motherfuckin’ 16, 15 years old on some Hot Boy shit. Day one… Nigga talking ’bout retiring and shit. Fuck that, nigga! Retire, quitting rap, whatever you wanna call it, nigga. Fuck that, nigga.

#BBB NEWS| Bobby Shmurda Pleads Guilty To Murder Conspiracy, Will Serve Seven Years In Prison [PHOTO]

Bobby Shmurda’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, issued a statement on his client’s sentencing, writing that since he already spent two years in jail, he might be released within 3 1/2 years. Read the full statement below.

“Mr. Pollard pleads guilty to weapons related charges. His sentence of 7 years, with credit for 2 years already served and good time credit will hopefully permit him to be home in approximately 3 1/2 years and resume his remarkable career. This plea also covers any time that would have to be served under the Bronx indictment.”

It’s been nearly two years since Bobby Shmurda awaited his hearing for an arrest that included drugs and weapons charges, and today (Sept. 9), the Brooklyn native’s case has reached its climax.

According to TMZ, the “Computers” rapper pled guilty to murder conspiracy, and was ordered to serve seven years in prison and five years on probation.

For the second straight year, Diddy has the ultimate bragging rights when it comes to whose pulling in the most paper.

Puff topped Forbes 2016 Hip Hop Cash Kings list with $62 million, up from $60 million in 2015.

Next up was Jay Z at $53.5 million. Then Dr. Dre ($41 million) Drake ($38.5 million) and Wiz Khalifa ($24 million.)

#BBB NEWS| Fuel At N145/Liter No Longer Sustainable - NNPC

Former and present Group Managing Directors of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation have expressed fears that the current pump price of N145 per litre is no longer feasible.

They said the amount does not correspond with the price-determining components of the commodity and the fluctuations of the foreign exchange rate.

They stated this after a one-day meeting they held with the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, in Abuja.

The NNPC in its statement said, “They (the GMDs) noted that the petrol price of N145/litre is not congruent with the liberalisation policy especially with the foreign exchange rate and other price determining components such as crude cost, Nigerian Ports Authority charges, etc remaining uncapped.”

At a time Nigerians are groaning under the yoke of recession, Members of the National Assembly (NASS) comprising the Senators and Members of House of Representatives have received a total sum of N6.78 billion as their official salaries and allowances in one year, investigation by Economic Confidential has revealed.

The report obtained by Economic intelligence magazine showed the ‘legitimate’ remuneration of the federal legislators in compliance to the statutory approval of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

The remuneration packages include: annual salaries, accommodation, vehicle maintenance and fuel, Personal Assistants, House maintenance, domestic staff, entertainment and utilities allowances. Others allowances are; Constituency allowance, Annual Leave, Hardship allowance, wardrobe, newspapers and responsibility allowances.

#BBB NEWS| Jerry Heller’s Lawyer Claims ’Straight Outta Compton’ Contributed To His Death

Jerry Heller’s may have passed on, but his beef with Straight Outta Compton isn’t dead yet. A lawyer for N.W.A’s onetime manager, wants to keep the battle alive by blaming the film for Heller’s death.

Heller, 75, died Friday (Sept. 2) after reportedly suffering a heart attack and crashing his car. According to TMZ, lawyer Mickey Shapiro says Heller’s health took a hit because of the way he was portrayed in the film.

Shapiro asserts that Heller, who was diabetic, became distraught and lost sleep over the way he was portrayed in Straight Outta Compton.

#BBB NEWS| Denzel Washington To Narrate A Documentary On Jazz Legend John Coltrane

Legendary jazz saxophonist and composer John Coltrane will be introduced to an entirely new generation in a forthcoming film titled Chasing Trane: The John Coltrane Documentary.

The film, which will be narrated by Academy-Award winner Denzel Washington, will make its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival.

This is the second documentary about the jazz icon, the first, which has been in production for a few years by long-time Spike Lee editor Sam Pollard, “A Love Supreme: A Portrait of John Coltrane in 4 Parts.”

Although there’s no official trailer for the doc, Shadow and Act reports the film will be comprised of Washington reciting Coltrane’s words along with interviews from fellow saxophonist Sonny Rollins, author and professor Cornell West and even commentary from former president Bill Clinton.

#BBB NEWS| N.W.A’s Former Manager, Jerry Heller, Dies At 75

Early Saturday morning (Sept. 3), news broke that Jerry Heller, manager of the 1980s rap collective N.W.A, died at the age of 75. Billboard reports that Heller’s cousin, Gary Ballen, confirmed the music industry veteran’s passing, but the cause of his death is still unknown.

Heller’s likeness recently made an appearance in the 2015 blockbuster N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton. His controversial dealings of the group’s monetary endeavors sparked a rift within the storied rap collective, and eventually led to their parting.

He also assisted in making Ruthless Records a household name within the industry, which saw the release of platinum-selling albums Eazy-Duz-It, 100 Miles and Runnin’, and the critically-acclaimed Straight Outta Compton.

Once the movie made its rounds, Heller sued Dr. Dre, Eazy-E’s estate, Ice Cube and others involved in the making of the film for defamation of character, and sued for $110 million in damages, Rolling Stone reports.
