Eazy E’s ex-manager Jerry Heller is suing Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, the Estate of Eazy-E, NBC Universal and others for defaming his character in the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton.

He claims he was incorrectly represented as a “bad guy” and “a sleazy manager who took advantage of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.”

Specifically, he says the movie got it wrong when they portrayed him withholding a $75k check from Ice Cube, fraudulently inducing Cube and Dr. Dre to sign unfavorable contracts, and enjoying lobster brunches while the contracts were being signed. He also says he was never fired by Eazy-E.

#BBB NEWS| Burundi Removed From Recipient List Of AGOA

On Friday, US President Barack Obama issued a statement to the US Congress regarding the termination of Burundi’s designation as a beneficiary of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).

President Obama cited Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza’s failure to establish the rule of law and political pluralism as required by section 104 of the AGOA.

The American president pointed to, “the continuing crackdown on opposition members, which has included assassinations, extra-judicial killings, arbitrary arrests, and torture, which have worsened significantly during the election campaign that returned President Nkurunziza to power earlier this year.”

The presidential campaigning was fraught since President Nkurunziza pushed Burundi’s Parliament to allow him to run for a third term, an action condemned internationally. In May South African President Jacob Zuma called for the elections to be delayed indefinitely until the legality of a third term for President Nkurunziza was resolved.

#BBB NEWS| A Passage To India By Femi Adesina

What do you do during a flight that lasts nine hours and six minutes? You read. You sleep. You wake, and sleep again. You eat. You pray (if you are the praying type). You discuss with your co-passengers. And of course, you ruminate about your destination. What you've heard, or read about the place, particularly if you were visiting for the first time. (pictured above) Pres. Buhari in India Photo Credit: State House Photos-Bayo Omoboriowo

But first, due credit for this headline. 'A Passage to India' is the title of a literature text I read in the university some 32 years ago. It was a 1924 novel by the English writer, E.M Forster. The book was on the struggle for Indian independence from British colonial rule, and the book is today regarded as one of the 100 Great Works of the 20th Century by the Modern Library, while Time Magazine also includes it in its 'All Time 100 Novels' list.

A Passage to India. That was what I embarked on, alongside my principal, President Muhammadu Buhari, who was billed to attend the 3rd India-Africa Forum Summit, scheduled for New Delhi, the Indian capital, between October 27 and 30,2015.

The oil revenue for the month of September dropped down to N321 billion as compared to the N369 billion collected in August, according to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Mrs. Anastasia Daniel-Nwaobia.

In response to this situation, the Ministry of Finance has looked to increasing revenue generated through taxation. Mrs. Daniel-Nwaobia noted that the Federal Government is exploring ways of increasing the tax revenue through enlarging the tax net.

Jeezy is on album number eight. He’ll be releasing Church In These Streets on November 13, a stacked date that also includes Justin Bieber, Ty Dolla $ign, and Logic as the track listing surfaces.

The interesting thing about the 19 records is that Jeezy opts for no rap  features. R&B singers Monica and Janelle Monáe are the only guests.

This is different from all other album he’s constructed, but surely a move fans will enjoy since it means more Jeezy and less other rappers.  See track listing below:

#BBB NEWS| Governor Okorocha Wins Election Petition At The Supreme Court - ChannelsTV

The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in the April 11, 2015, election in Imo State, Mister Emeka Ihedioha, challenging the election of Governor Rochas Okorocha.

The seven-man panel of the Supreme Court presided over by Justice John Fabiyi, held that Ihedioha’s appeal lacked merit.

The Apex Court affirmed the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Owerri to the effect that Ihedioha’s failure to properly serve Okorocha his party, the All Progressives Congress, and other parties in the suit had robbed the Appeal Court’s jurisdiction to hear the case.

The Supreme Court also held that failure to indicate the addresses of other respondents on the processes of the appeal was injurious to the case.

#BBB NEWS| How Big And Rich MTN Walked The Outlaw Path Into $5.2bn Fine In Nigeria | SR

A confidential document obtained from within Nigeria's Communications Commission (NCC) shows that MTN Nigeria, the telecom giant which was fined a massive $5.2bn yesterday, is a serial offender of regulations in the industry, and explains how the staggering figure was arrived at.

The fine, which MTN says it is studying, is a punishment for non-compliance with a deadline set by the NCC to disconnect all non-registered sim cards.

The document explains that the punishment follows a review of the registration records of all the telecom operators, and having taken into consideration their compliance records, the agency imposed a fine on MTN alone for non-compliance on SIM registration.

“The fine of N1,040 billion is in line with Section 19 of the SIM Registration Regulations specifying  N200,000 per unregistered SIM and the penalty has been applied for the 5.2m MTN SIM card registration records found to be non-compliant by the NCC,” the document says.  “This unprecedented fine is indicative of the magnitude of the transgression and the seriousness with which the NCC and the authorities are approaching this issue. It is also more likely to ensure that the wilful non-compliance by MTN ceases.”

The Nigeria Immigration Service has, however, warned that such act is criminal and attracts a jail term.

In one of the videos, the man introduced himself as Emenike Michael Nwofor.

He said, “My names are (sic) Emenike Michael Nwaofor. I’m from Nnewi in Biafra land; when there was Biafra, there wasn’t anything called Anambra State. I would refuse to add that name called Anambra State to it. I am from Nnewi, the former Enugu State.

“I am living here in Bordeaux (France); I am an asylum seeker in Bordeaux. I have been around Bordeaux for a year plus and we have been able to gather the Biafran family here in France; we have been able to register with the government of France as indigenous people of Biafra.”
