#BBB NEWS| Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corrine Foxx Named “Miss Golden Globe” 2016 [PHOTO]

Corinne Foxx, the daughter of actor and singer Jamie Foxx, will be taking on the role of “Miss Golden Globe” at the 2016 Golden Globes Ceremony, People Magazine reports.

The 21-year-old model, who is a senior studying at the University of Southern California, is often a staple on red carpets, serving as her famous father’s date on many occasions.

Foxx was anointed the role, traditionally given to the children of famous actors and actresses, by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. She is expected to help out at the ceremony, most notably task of handing out the awards to those who have won it (and of course look amazing doing so).

She will join the ranks of Miss (and Mr.) Golden Globes before her, such as Rumer Willis, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Dakota Johnson.

“I had all of this energy and I’m not lying, for an hour straight, just jumped around my house and was bouncing off the walls, and was Googling all of this stuff about Miss Golden Globes so I was really excited,” she told the magazine.

She also said that her father, who released a new album this past May, was extremely emotional (in the best way) about his daughter’s selection.

“He won’t admit it, but he had tears in his eyes and he was so happy for me to kind of have my own thing now.” We’re sure she’ll look positively stunning and make her family proud.
