After thanking his Revolt staff, Sean “Diddy” Combs breaks down Nas’ influence on him and the competitive sport that is hip hop. Combs, the owner of Revolt TV, revealed stories of sharing jewelry with Nas, and admiring the Queensbridge native’s swag from his kicks to his clothes.
Alongside these recollections, he reminded the audience that Nas came correct during his lyrical battle with the great Jay Z.
Seven platinum albums and a Netflix original show later, Nas has been able to stay true to his commitment to the people and has continued to share the black experience through music. Puff made sure to acknowledge Nas as “one of the greatest MCs in the world, if not the greatest MC in the world.”
