The best way to get an album going is with a big first week. Using Hits Daily Double, Redditor Chriscftb97 has compiled a list of the top 49 best first weeks of 2016 in the Hip Hop space.

One album you don’t see on the list is Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo. Because of the album’s unique (and TIDAL exclusive) roll out, it didn’t chart at all during its first month and a half. However, it would have probably been somewhere in the top five if it had a traditional release.
