
The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) is set to create an event which will commemorate the 25th anniversary of New Jack City and Boyz N The Hood. Equipped with a concert, the association plans to take an in-depth journey on how hip-hop has changed Hollywood.
“Hip-Hop has had a global impact on pop culture and influenced millions around the world,” says AAFCA President/Co-Founder, Gil Robertson in a press release. “And it’s impact on Hollywood has been a major game changer in front and behind the camera and at the box office.”
