The “100” rapper apparently engaged in a physical match with a man named Onyebuchi Awaji during a basketball game.
In recent court developments, The Game — born Jayceon Taylor — lost the lawsuit which was filed by Awaji. A reason for the 36-year-old’s loss was due to his missed appearance for the trial. As a result, the judge ruled in favor of Awaji, and mandated Game to pay $100,000 in damages.
Just last month, Game was ordered to stand trial for one count of criminal threats and misdemeanor of assault and battery. Awaji also claimed he suffered brain damage after the reported altercation with the famed rapper.
The Game has yet to issue a statement on the ruling.
