#BBB NEWS| WATCH: Alfonso Ribeiro Teaches Snoop Dogg How To Do The Signature ‘Carlton’ Dance [PHOTO/VIDEO]

One of the most recognizable dances in the history of dance moves just received the G-stamp of approval.

While in New York City at the Metropolitan Opera House, Snoop Dogg bumped into actor Alfonso Ribeiro, who’s affectionately known for his role as Carlton Banks on the early 90s show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. One of the popular things the snarky character honed — besides getting clowned by Will Smith — was his self-titled dance move.

The crazed routine has been done by those brave enough to continue extending its place on the dance floor, and Snoop D-O-double-G decided to learn the move from the originator himself.

“You can teach a new dog a new trick if you’re willing to listen,” Snoop said. Ribeiro demonstrated the longstanding choreography while someone belted out its theme song, “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones.

Ribeiro recently showcased how to properly do “The Carlton” signature move on the TODAY show, displaying the “chill version” of the gesture. “You have to do a little more than just the arms,” he said. “There’s a whole thing that has to happen.”
