According to TMZ, Birdman’s lawyers have been forced to show just how an alleged missing $100 million advance was spent. Since bringing his issues with Birdman to light last year, Wayne claimed the Cash Money CEO spent the majority of the multi-million dollar advance they were meant to share.
So far, Birdman’s lawyers have presented over 20,000 documents to the defense, but they were reportedly full of fluff.
Birdman now has 30 days to turn over the appropriate documents –or else. His lawyers haven’t painted the best outcome for the businessman. Sources claimed the company’s bookkeeping wasn’t at it’s best over the past two years, with one of his lawyers noting, “It is what it is.”
Birdman has promised to mend his friendship with Weezy and seemed unbothered by the latest legal blow. On Monday (Sept. 25), the rap mogul showed off his new Lugz design and his spirits brand, Grand Touring Vodka.
For now, it looks like it’s business as usual.
