The Republican presidential candidate took to his social media account, to invite Gennifer Flowers — the woman whom Bill Clinton admitted to having sexual relations with in 1998, to the presidential debate.
After it was announced that Shark Tank judge, Mark Cuban would be among the celebrity guests present at the debate this week (Cuban has also made some negative comments about Trump on social media), Trump expressed his disdain in a loaded tweet. “If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Gennifer Flowers right alongside of him,” he tweeted.
While many were outraged by Trump’s invitation, the drama unfortunately didn’t stop there. Gennifer Flowers responded on Twitter, following the public invite, confirming that she would be present at the political event. “Hi Donald. You know I’m in your corner and will definitely be at the debate,” she wrote.
For all of those who may not be up to date on Bill Clinton’s past sexual deviances, Gennifer Flowers rose to some sort of twisted fame when she came forward during Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign, claiming she was involved in a 12-year relationship with the married man. The former president denied all allegations, but later admitted under oath that he had in fact had sexual relations with her. There’s no shock Flowers would ultimately be siding with Trump, considering her history with the Clinton family. Nonetheless, it’s just more proof that the election is a three-ring circus spiraling out of control.
But to catch all the acts live, tune into the presidential debate Monday, Sept. 26, on CNN at 9 p.m. ET.
