Now, whether you’re stuck on a long car ride or a tiring flight, Netflix has got your back.
Airplane mode. Road trip mode. Stuck-in-the-subway-for-20-minutes mode. Your favorite stories are now available for download any time. pic.twitter.com/g7QZA3TyE8— Netflix US (@netflix) November 30, 2016
“While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited,” said Eddy Wu, Netflix’s director of product innovation. “Just click the download button on the details page for a film or TV series and you can watch it later without an internet connection.”
Make sure to head over to the “Available For Download” section to see if the show you are about to binge-watch is open to offline viewing. Shows like Narcos and Orange Is The New Black are the first to test out the new feature on Android and iOS, but other content is reportedly “on the way” as well.
Avoiding your annoying family members while traveling just got a little easier.
