Released Thursday evening (March 9), Nicki Minaj played up her time away from the states in the release of not one, but three tracks. Nicki tweeted, #3PackFromParis with the aforementioned track along with Lil Wayne-assisted track, “I Changed It” and “Regret In Your Tears.”
The songs come after the rapper faced criticism over “ignoring” Remy Ma’s diss track “ShEther.” It’s easy to see the rapper was quietly plotting her response while enjoying the thrills of Paris Fashion Week and reuniting with Drizzy and Lil Wayne last month.
“I Changed It,” is a chilled out track with Weezy, while “No Frauds” directly addressed Remy and her scathing accusations against the rapper.
What type of bum b***h shoot a friend over a rap?
What type of mother leave her one son over a stack?
Lil Boogie down basic b***h thinkin’ she back
Back to back, oh you mean, back to wack?
“Back to Back”? Me and Drizzy laughed at that
They say numbers don’t matter
But when they discussin’ the kings
They turn around and say Lebron ain’t got 6 rings
I never signed a 360, b***h you wild dumb
That’s why Jay ain’t clear his verse for your album
Shanaynay, you a fraud committin’ perjury
I got before and after pictures of your surgery
Ra took you to her dog, but you don’t look like Ra
Left the opertating table, still look like “nah”
Remy’s second diss track, “Another One” featured hints of inspiration from Drake’s “Back to Back.” Her Jay mention is, of course, a dig at the absence of the remix to “All The Way Up” on Remy joint album with Fat Joe, Plato O Plomo.
Meanwhile, “Regret In Your Tears” shows her possibility vulnerability towards her old flames Meek Mill and Safaree Samuels.
Regret in your tears, now you textin’ me
‘Cause you know I don’t chase, I replace ‘em
Don’t rush, take time, textin’ me
I just want the memories, tried to make some with you
You
Now I gotta erase some with you
Check out all of the tracks, “No Frauds,” “I Changed It” and “Regret In Your Tears” on iTunes.
