#BBB NEWS| Bruno Mars Gets Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Bruno Mars, whose father is part Puerto Rican, proves to be a musical jack-of-all-trades as he’s added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame 2016 roster, in the category of recording.

The 29-year-old who sings, writes, produces and choreographs his own dance moves spent 14 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, thanks to his Mark Ronson-assisted radio smash, “Uptown Funk”.

Angélica Maria, who rose to prominence in Mexico in the ’60s as a singer and enjoyed success as a telenovela and movie star in later years, is also among the notables to be eulogized next year.

“After much deliberation, we feel that we have selected a great group of talent for this coveted award,”
announced The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Monday (June 22). “Fans from around the world will be thrilled to hear that their favorite celebrities will be honored on our world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. We look forward to welcoming these great talents to our Walk of Fame family.”
Other recipients include Michael Keaton, Quentin Tarantino, Tracy Morgan, Steve Carell, LL Cool J, Kevin Hart, Kathy Bates, Cyndi Lauper and Kurt Russell.
