The album earned itself a top spot at No. 2, under Selena Gomez’s new album.
For those who have yet to hear the album , it features a long list of notable artists including Dr. Dre, Diddy, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Q-Tip, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future, and YG. He also continued to fill in the puzzle, dropping The Documentary 2.5 shortly after.
Number two is a long way up for the West Coast rapper, but The Game is no stranger to the charts. Previously, Game held it down for hip-hop with his 2014 album, Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf at No.7, the 2012 hit, Jesus Piece at No.6, and the No.2 spot in 2008 with LAX. Game also held two No.1 positions on the charts two years in a row with his 2005 album, The Documentary and Doctor’s Advocate the following year.
The Game is among a lot of acclaimed artists including, The Weeknd (Beauty Behind the Madness, No.3), Drake and Future (What A Time To Be Alive, No.5), Fetty Wap (Fetty Wap No.4), and Janet Jackson (Unbreakable, No.8). No.2 is the place to be, but it can only be assumed Game is coming for the No.1 spot next.
