#BBB NEWS| Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment Partners With Epic Records In New Deal

Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs is nothing short of a businessman and that’s even more clear with his latest endeavor.

The King of Bad Boy Entertainment announced his new partnership with Epic Records of Sony Music today, according to Billboard.

The joining of the two music powerhouses will include some pretty nice perks including the release of not one, but two forthcoming Puff Daddy albums, as well as marketing, sales, and distribution for Bad Boy artists.

The details of the deal have yet to reach fruition, but L.A. Reid, Chairman of Epic Records and founder of LaFace Records says this is a great moment for the music houses. Reid also has nothing but words of endearment for Puffy in a statement.
“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs aka Puff Daddy and I have been musical collaborators since the 1990s, when we both ran independent record labels. … Over the years, we not only enjoyed incredible success together, but we also became lifelong friends. Today, of course, Puffy is truly in a league all his own, continuing to influence culture and ignite musical revolutions time and time again. He’s a true innovator and I could not be more excited to join forces once again.”

Diddy threw compliments right back, saying “To now work with L.A. in this capacity feels more like a homecoming than a new beginning. Not only is he a fearless and smart businessman, he believes in artists and understands music better than anyone.”

To celebrate what seems to be a strategic power move, Puffy will perform new music at the BET Hip-Hop Awards on October 13 in Atlanta.
