With her Slut Walk drawing thousands of women and feminists to walk with her in L.A., she is definitely sending a positive message about double standards, sexuality, and sexual harassment. And to keep the conversation going, Amber Rose has launched a streetwear brand.
The brand, which falls under her Amber Rose eyewear shop, includes a series of hoodies, t-shirts, and hats, all printed with sexual slurs towards women that are common in pop culture’s every day language, such as “thot” and “slut.” At first glance, the collection seems alarming, but the collection aims to take a stand against slut shaming and the double standards women face in terms of sexuality.
