After 20 seasons, five NBA titles and four All-Star MVP awards, Black Mamba has rightfully earned his farewell from the league, and done so gracefully and heart. After his announcement, many took to social media to publicly voice their love and respect for Number 24.
Among those players was Allen Iverson, who on Tuesday evening (December 1) paid tribute to the 6’6′ shooting guard with a heartfelt message, thanking him for all he’s done for the NBA, and also helping to elevate his game.
Marking the start of his farewell tour, Bryant received a standing ovation from his hometown of Philadelphia, along with his famed high school basketball jersey, which was presented to him by famed 76er, Dr. J.
