But the kicker is, officers in Gainesville found Williams, 44,“lying on the ground with his hands behind his back as though he was ready to go to jail.”
According to reports, an employee at the Highway 53 store said Williams threw a pair of goggles at him before going behind the counter and punching him once. Williams, who was with two bodyguards and two women at the time, was then “on the ground in prone position outside the business,” Sgt Kevin Holbrook said.
It’s unclear what sparked the altercation between the employee and the comedian. Williams, real name Micah Sierra Williams, now faces a misdemeanor battery charge and was held on $5,000 bond.
The latest arrest takes place as he and Suge Knight await trial and both face felony robbery charges after paparazzo Leslie Redden claim Williams took her camera during a physical altercation with two other women under Knight’s orders.
The charge also comes not even 12 hours after Williams called Kevin Hart a “puppet.”
So is Williams’ arrest karma or coincidence? You decide.
