#BBB NEWS| Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Pearl Jam And Coldplay Will Grace Global Citizen Festival Stage

Beyoncé will headline the 2015 Global Citizen Festival and bring her efforts towards gender equality to the Central Park stage (Sept. 26).

Global Citizen holds a free concert every year for people seeking to change the world, to support the United Nations’ goals, and to engage participation in relieving world issues. The organization hopes to eliminate poverty by 2030 by providing sources of food, clean water, education, innovation, hygiene, sustainability, and equality for women—a mission they called upon the “***Flawless” singer for.

Global Citizen officially partnered with CHIME FOR CHANGE – an organization founded by Beyoncé, Gucci, and Salma Hayek Pinault. CHIME FOR CHANGE’s projects increase justice, education, and healthcare for girls and women around the world. It organized the first global concert dedicated towards these issues in 2013.

Later this year, one of its founders will perform at Global Citizen’s concert to bring further awareness.

Activists and leaders will see not only Beyoncé but Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and Pearl Jam on the Central Park Great Lawn in New York City. To be eligible to attend, you must register online.

Tickets are drawn at random, and “global citizens” can increase their chances by participating in actions revealed on the website. The amount of tickets available per person is unlimited, but participants can also redeem prizes instead.

Global Citizen posted a new action today. Secure your spot to see the Queen Bey and friends live!
