#BBB NEWS| Trailer: Will Smith To Play Bennet Omalu, Who Changed The Way We Think About Football [PHOTO/VIDEO]

Will Smith stars in the upcoming movie titled Concussion as Dr. Bennet Omalu, the man who discovered chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a neurological disease caused by multiple head injuries and/or concussions. 

The film chronicles Omalu’s struggle with the NFL to take precautions against the condition.

In the two-minute Concussion trailer, Smith relays Dr. Omalu’s relentlessness towards NFL officials after he discovers CTE. Faced with the seemingly impossible job of bringing attention to a dangerous component of a multi-million dollar corporation, Omalu is met with resistance as he is asked to “leave it alone.”

The dramatic sneak-peek into the film sets the stage for an emotional journey that is sure to get the masses talking about a subject that remains largely taboo.

Concussion is set to hit theaters on Dec. 25. Peep the trailer for the film below:
