#BBB NEWS| LAPD Confirms Investigation Of A Buried Knife At O.J. Simpson’s Brentwood Manor

With O.J. Simpson’s controversial murder trial of 1994 depicted on the small screen for FX’s 10-part series, American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson, the former pro-footballer has re-entered America’s living room once again. Now, Simpson’s acquitted trial just received a possible game-changing discovery.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the LAPD confirmed an investigation into a knife that was found buried on Simpson’s Brentwood estate.

The suspected murder weapon was brought to the attention of authorities a few months ago by a retired officer who notified detectives of the knife’s being. It’s still unclear when exactly the knife was uncovered and the timeline of events that occurred after, until now.

As a result of the re-discovery, the LAPD has now launched a series of forensic tests to figure out if this was the actual knife that was supposed to be placed in the “mystery envelope” presented by the defense during the double homicide trial of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. But one of Simpson’s past legal team members, attorney Carl Douglas, isn’t buying this recent development.

“It’s amazing how the world can not move on from this case!” he said. “And it, as in the media, is apparently still fascinated by everything OJ Simpson.” The previously mentioned knife that the defense revealed in court didn’t match up with the stabbings of the victims, and it was still in “pristine” condition.

Developments are still forthcoming.
