After running off his accolades for Ellen and her audience, the We The Best head honcho put the host on to his theory about “They,” warning Ellen about those that don’t want to see her win.
“Please Ellen, stay away from them. They’ is the person that told you you would never have the Ellen show,” he explained. “‘They’ are the people that don’t believe in you, that say that you won’t succeed. We stay away from ‘They.'”
Khaled also delivered quite the inspiring speech on his own journey. Sharing with Ellen that his ability to turn a “no” into a “yes” has led him down his path to success, the producer left the host and audience awestruck with his positives thoughts and quote-worthy sentiments, mentioning his recent partnership with Jay Z and Roc Nation.
“I have a saying: ‘They kick you when you down, but they wanna kick you when you up.’ And I just believe, my whole journey in life, I’ve always been told no, and always took them no’s and turned them into yes. I always believed in my path and my vision. Even though I know you go through trials and tribulations in life, but I do know the sun shines on the other side. I do know there’s a goal, there’s a victory. Winning ain’t easy, success don’t come overnight. This is 25 years of blood, sweat and tears before I got on this show. Before I had a No. 1 record. Before Jay Z became one of my partners.”
There was also mentions of egg whites, ellipticals, and gallons of water. Watch DJ Khaled on The Ellen Show below:
