#BBB NEWS| 50 Cent Apologizes To Rick Ross’s Baby Mama, Claims His Riches Are An Illusion [PHOTO]

50 Cent finally appeared in court for his trial against Rick Ross’ child’s mother Lastonia Leviston.

After a ruling that the rapper/mogul pay Leviston $5 million for a 2009 sextape leak at the height of his beef with the MMG boss, Fif made a claim to a Manhattan Supreme Court judge that he was not as rich as he seems.

According to the New York Post, 50 Cent now claims that he is worth $4.4 million, a striking contrast to the $150 million reported by Forbes earlier this year.

In reference to his flashy cars and jewelry, the G-Unit general maintains that the vehicles were rented and the jewels were borrowed from his jeweler. He also claimed that he has just three gold chains – which he takes to the jeweler to redesign.

“It’s like music videos, they say action and you see all these fancy cars but everything goes back to the dealership,”
he said, the Post reports.

50 Cent also alleges that he made a total of $3.8 million from his 38 million records sold worldwide. Admitting that his Connecticut estate includes a basketball court and nightclub, Fif also divulged that he was paid $100,000 for a day of filming Spy, and recently collected $200,000 for a concert appearance in London.

“You gotta smile when you’re in a public situation. If you’re crying they’re just having more fun with you,”
he said.

Since his bankruptcy filing last week, 50 Cent’s lawyer told the judge that the rapper’s bank account is nearing zero because of debts owed. He also offered an apology to Leviston: “I’m sorry if you feel like I hurt you.”

Fif took the stand during the punitive round of the trial today, and apologized to Leviston.

“I’m sorry if you feel like I hurt you,” he told her.

Then his lawyer, James Renard, told the jury 50 Cent was only worth $4.4 million before getting hit with the $5 million judgement.

Leviston’s lawyer Philip Freidin disputed this, and brought up record sales, mansions, cars, jewelry and a video of Fif throwing money around the strip club last week. According to the New York Daily News, this is how 50 reconciled that under oath:

“I take the jewelry and cars back to the stores” after posing for pictures with them, he told Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Paul Wooten.

Asked about his 38 million in record sales, he said, “I make ten cents a record.” When asked about the two movies he’s currently in, “Spy” and “Southpaw,” Fitty responded that he made $100,000 for each.

When questioned about his hit TV show “Power,” which he also executive produces, he said he’s made about $150,000 from each of its first two seasons.

He did admit to buying a Rolls Royce on July 4 — but said he traded in two other cars to buy it. “I took two others back,” he said.

He said he “hopes” that he’ll continue to be successful, but said he was worried his “brand” had taken a hit since he filed for bankruptcy last week.

“Now that I filed for bankruptcy, I’m not as cool as I was last week,”
he said.
