#BBB NEWS| DJ Mustard Calls Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” And Jidenna’s “Classic Man” Rip-Offs [TWEETS]

While rumors swirl of Jidenna’s “Classic Man” being a sample of Iggy Azalea’s “Classic Man,” DJ Mustard seems to find the entire conversation laughable.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday night (Aug. 18), the Los Angeles producer called both tracks “rip-offs” of the West Coast sound. Noting that the slight controversy surrounding the two track is over “s**t they ain’t start.”

Jidenna recently stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning to clear the air about the alleged sample, citing the Robin Thicke/Marvin Gaye verdict as the motivation behind giving Iggy a credit. He said, however, that “Classic Man” is not a sample of “Fancy.”

“Some of the people have said Iggy Azalea is getting paid off this record. I’ve seen that a lot,” he said. “The truth is, we actually didn’t sample it. But ever since the decision of Robin Thicke and Pharrell, we believe that it was important to make sure that we are safe.”
